    Sulfonylation of Amines using Nanoparticles of NaX Zeolite under Green Conditions

  • Abstract

    A novel methodology to the N-sulfonylation reaction using stable and reusable nanoparticles of NaX Zeolite as green catalyst under mild conditions with very short reaction time and higher yields was developed. The products were obtained in high purity and high yields. Moreover, we introduce our findings on the sulfonylation of aniline, and some alcohols bearing electron donating or withdrawing substituents with p-toluenesulfonyl chloride under very simple conditions in the absence of any expensive additive, under solvent free and catalyst conditions at room temperature.
